Description
The wellbeing and mental health of operational staff (flight crew, cabin crew, ATCOs, engineers, ramp staff) are safety-relevant and may be impacted by stressors from the professional and personal lives. These stressors can impact their performance and their ability to operate safely by impairing their cognitive function, decision-making, manual handling and increase risk exposure.
Impaired situational awareness, degraded decision-making, errors in normal and non-normal operations, increased likelihood of safety events and reduced organisational resilience.
